Sisterhood Events
One of the five core values of Lambda Kappa Sigma is sisterhood. For many of our sisters, LKS is their home away from home and our members are always there for each other to inspire our sisterhood as a whole to become the best version of ourselves.
Even though all our sisterhood events were virtual this academic year and can sadly only be remembered through Zoom screenshots, our sisterhood was still able to spend quality time with each other. Some fun virtual events our sisterhood committee hosted Card Making and Paint Nights with our faculty advisor Dr. Aleksunes, a sisterhood workout with the St. John's University chapter of LKS, and even an Alumni Mixer allowing us to connect with older sisters!
Before the end of the fall semester, our sisters celebrated the holiday season by enjoying a holiday party party organized by our sisterhood co-chairs! Our sisters exchanged Secret Santa gifts, feasted on a holiday potluck, decorated cookies, and enjoyed each other's company!
Our annual spring formal is a time for sisters to dress up and get together before finals while enjoying good food! We send off our P3 and P4 sisters to their APPEs and post-graduation plans and announce our sister superlatives!
